On December 12th and 16th, the National Pedagogical Institute (NPI) welcomed two distinguished delegations from Ukraine. The first group included principals from primary and secondary schools in Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa, while the second consisted of representatives from universities and regional authorities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Both groups were introduced to the Czech education system and its unique characteristics, fostering a rich exchange of knowledge and experiences.

During the meetings, participants engaged in discussions about the professional development of teaching staff and the methodological support provided to school leaders in the Czech Republic. A key topic of mutual interest was inclusive education, with a focus on supporting children with diverse disadvantages, working with gifted students, and educating children from immigrant backgrounds. Special emphasis was placed on addressing the needs of Ukrainian refugee children, highlighting strategies to ensure their integration and success in the classroom.

The meetings were carried out as part of projects aimed at strengthening the capacities of Ukrainian educators, supported by the Transformation Promotion Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Czech Development Agency.
