This December, the National Pedagogical Institute welcomed a delegation of Ukrainian school leaders and education professionals for a working visit focused on current challenges and future reforms in education. The meeting was part of a long-term cooperation with the Association for International Affairs, hrough which we have been hosting Ukrainian education experts for the third consecutive year. This year’s visit took place in a pre-Christmas atmosphere, offering space not only for presentations but also for open, in-depth discussion.
In response to planned reforms in Ukraine, the programme focused on key systemic topics such as transitions from primary to secondary education, the structure of secondary education pathways, career guidance, and the recognition of learning outcomes acquired through non-formal education. Participants were introduced to Czech tools supporting these areas, including Infoabsolvent and the National Register of Qualifications, with practical demonstrations highlighting their use in real educational contexts.
We appreciated the interest, openness, and engagement of our Ukrainian colleagues and thank them for the inspiring discussions. We look forward to continuing our cooperation in the years to come.
